From Birth to Death (Amethyst LP)

Amethyst Vinyl Version

"The heaviest supergroup of all time?"

-Revolver

Sun Don’t Shine (formerly known as EYE AM) unites Kenny Hickey, Kirk Windstein, Johnny Kelly, and Todd Strange - four seasoned players from Type O Negative, Crowbar, Down, and Silvertomb - into a project that feels raw, heavy, and immediate. Blending crushing riffs with melodic depth, their sound thrives on contrast and real chemistry, focusing less on fitting a genre and more on creating something honest, dynamic, and built to last.

Sun Don’t Shine’s emergence has already generated major attention across the rock and metal press landscape:

• Cover feature — Revolver Magazine, April ’26 Digital Release
• Band feature — MetalHammer Magazine, Issue #411 (April ’26)
• YouTube media coverage — Concrete Spew, Talk Louder, Loaded Radio, and additional channels

Their early singles—including “The Promise Song,” “Cryptomnesia,” “Coming Down,” and “In The End”—have been supported by multiple official videos through Corpse Paint Records and SunDontShineVEVO, further expanding their reach across digital platforms.
