Dead Little Thing (LP)

VINLY VERSION

Gitcha Records is proud to present Redd & The Paper Flowers’ sophomore album Dead Little Thing, featuring five new songs presented in crisp studio recordings as well as raw live recordings from Pink Moon in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Dead Little Thing is a warm, musical exploration of love, and loss. Written after the loss of a dear friend, this new EP details the journey through grief from denial to acceptance as the band weaves together their signature blend of layered strings and harmonies. Pulling from their varied backgrounds in bluegrass, jazz, classical, and warm folky genres, they create a sound that is as familiar as it is unique.

The project explores how we navigate grief, how we long for love, and how sometimes grief and love overlap in a messy, unmanageable, sometimes laughable way. Through the dark themes of sadness, Dead Little Thing finds a way through the thick woods, and back towards the light.

For fans of Nickel Creek, Punch Brothers, Sierra Ferrell, and Norah Jones.
