Yodeling Astroman (LP)

VINYL VERSION

Yodeling Astroman, Kendall Street Company’s 8th studio album, is a collection of folk tales written from the perspective of the Yodeling Astroman. He materialized in deep space shortly after the big bang and stumbled upon Earth by chance. When humans came along, he was fascinated by their equal capacities to love and hate, to hope and despair, to build and destroy. He wrote many songs and stories about humans from the mundane to the profound. Kendall Street Company took creative liberties when channeling this body of work.

Yodeling Astroman was mixed and co-produced by long-time band collaborator Scott Gordon (Ringo Starr, Alanis Morissette) and is driven by acoustic guitars, stellar vocals, and rootsy rhythm section. The sound is a mixture of classic folk traditions with elements of rock, pop, psych, jam, country and western.

For fans of Courtney Barnett, Blues Traveler, They Might Be Giants, and Paul Simon.
