The Eternal Light Singers are one the nation’s most prolific and spirited gospel groups, with an awe-inspiring ability to sing Quartet-style and contemporary gospel music.
Legacy is the Eternal Light Singers’ fifth release on Ecko Records. This project was recorded in Nashville and Memphis and was inspired by an interest in combining the roots of powerful traditional gospel quartet singing with a more modern production. Although the recording of the CD was a more difficult endeavor, the final result turned out better than expected. Throughout it all the group remained faithful to their vision.
The “Eternal Light Singers” originally formed in 1982, Marianna, Arkansas. Founding members include Rev. Ronald Broussard, and twin brothers Rev. Cecil Coleman and Rev. Cedric Coleman.
The Eternal Light Singers have been nominated at the Gospel Music Workshop of America’s national conclave for the coveted “Excellence Awards” for Quartet Group of year and New Artists Of The Year. They were also recognized as the Quartet of the Year by the Arkansas Heritage Gala Awards.
